Rain may have dampened the courts in March, which saw some games postponed, but that did not dampen spirits as teams finally hit the court a few days later.

In the second division games, the men's tournament jump started with the pool B match between Mele and Stade United. United had the upper hand in the match but woke up too late. Mele managed to sneak past them with a 34-28 win. In the second division women's game Petala proved too quick for LDS, outrunning them in a close match 30 - 26.
An interesting match up in the men's first division game between Ginias and Mele. The guys from Imere were just too cunning for the Ginias, outwitting them 34 - 27. Ginias did not find their mark that weekend with some of their players injured. Three points shooter Patrick Kasten (Kilz) ended up with stiff neck injury but should be back in action down at the stade courts today.
The other much anticipated match between first division rivals, Sia-Raga and Stade United went one way. Sia-Raga, the 2003 champions, were no match for United, without key players who left for greener pastures. Coach Pierre Izono is faced with the frustrating job of starting again from square one he must train his new and younger players to gain back the Sia glory of last year.
