Penama was able to defeat Port-Vila 35-33 in the pool phase but the players from the capital city led by NT players Elvis Silas and Lesly Kasten won the Gold medal game against the same Penama team to take the Gold medal. This is the 5th win in a row for Port-Vila in the Vanuatu Games Men Basketball Tournament. Please read below for the final standings, results and team rosters.

Vanuatu Basketball Federation (VBF) is currently ranked the third best 3x3 squad in the Oceania region behind powerhouse countries Australia and New Zealand. Wan Smolbag Shefa Basketball League President - Peter Izono has announced that the League will be hosting its Championship quarter final games today, Wednesday 9th of May.
