Everything went according to plan in Terrigal where leader North Bears (2-0) outscored bottom-ranked Crusaders (0-2) 75-55 on Saturday. Guard Kate Seebohm (170-91, college: California, PA) stepped up and scored 8 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and Austrian center Sarah Schicher (187-90, college: Dowling) chipped in 8 points and 12 rebounds. North Bears' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Sara Matthews responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Taylor Ferris (185, college: CCU) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. North Bears moved-up to second place in League. Loser Crusaders still closes the standings with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
