Regular Season Round 9: Inner WB - Sutherland S. 67-78

There was a surprise result in Inner West where eleventh ranked Sutherland Sharks (2-2) won against 4th placed Bulls (2-2) 78-67 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Callum Norris who scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Bailey Musulin chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Sutherland Sharks players scored in double figures. Sutherland Sharks' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Jaden Weldon (185, college: Delta St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and Luca Ace-Nasteski added 5 points and 15 rebounds respectively. Sutherland Sharks moved-up to seventh place in League. Sutherland Sharks will face higher ranked Norths Soul Sports Bears (#3) in Crows Nest in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bulls will play at home against Newcastle Hunters (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
