Forward Matthew Fennell (196) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Naturalized American guard CJ Asuncion-Byrd (194-96, college: LeMoyne) contributed with 23 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winners. Center Jock Perry (216-97, college: UC Riverside) answered with 25 points and 7 rebounds and guard William Hickey (194-99) added 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Ballarat Miners.
