An interesting game was also tough home defeat of 7th ranked Bankstown Bruins in a game in Condell Park versus Sutherland Sharks (#8) 77-68. It was an exceptional evening for Lochlan Hutchison who led the winners and scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Aaron Borich (185, college: S.Oregon, agency: Big Game Management Inc.) accounted for 18 points for the winning side. Four Sutherland Sharks players scored in double figures. Forward Jack Lopez (196-94, college: Montana) came up with 28 points and 8 rebounds and center Nathaniel Musters (208-93, college: Lafayette) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Bankstown Bruins in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sutherland Sharks (4-3) moved-up to sixth place in League. Loser Bankstown Bruins dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. Sutherland Sharks will meet at home Mustangs (#8) in the next round. Bankstown Bruins will play against Mustangs in Maitland and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
