Regular Season Round 11: Gold Coast R. - Ipswich F. 74-73

A very interesting game took place in Gold Coast. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of bottom-ranked Ipswich Force (0-1) to leader Rollers (1-0) 74-73 on Sunday evening. It was a key game for the second position in League. The best player for the winners was guard Levi Frankland (193, college: CS Monterey) who scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Preston Le Gassick chipped in 18 points (perfect from the field making all six shots). Point guard Jason Ralph (178-95, college: VCSU) produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and Mitchell Poulain added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Rollers left bottom position moving up to second place in League. Ipswich Force at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. Rollers will have a break next round. Ipswich Force will play on the road against Thunder (#3) in Loganholme and hopes to get finally their first victory.
