Everything went according to plan in Wonthella where fifth ranked Lightning (3-1) outscored 11th ranked Buccaneers (1-2) 82-60 on Saturday. They outrebounded Buccaneers 52-26 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Corey Shervill (201-88, college: St.Edward's) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and center Jarrad Prue (198-82) who added 6 points and 23 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Dylan Myers (192-97) with 16 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized South Sudanese guard Tito Kwajakwan (180-91) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lightning moved-up to fourth place in League. Loser Buccaneers keep the eleventh position with two games lost. Lightning will face league's leader Senators in Perth in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Buccaneers will play at home against the league's second-placed Hawks (#2) and hope to win that game.
