Regular Season Round 13: Eastern Suns - SW Slammers 80-90

Not a big story in a game in Kalamunda where bottom-ranked Suns (0-5) were defeated by twelfth ranked Slammers (2-3) 90-80 on Saturday. Center Mitch Keller (203-96, college: Delta St.) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Rhys Barrett (185-3) chipped in 19 points. Power forward Ryan Blanchett (203-96, college: FNU) produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Carl Aylett (181-97) added 17 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Slammers moved-up to ninth place in League. Loser Suns still closes the standings with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
