No shocking result in a game in Mandurah where ninth ranked Magic (5-5) won against 14th ranked Suns (1-8) 83-69 on Sunday. Magic made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for guard Jerami Grace (190-94, college: Langston) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. New Zealand Xavier Shaw (203-92, college: MSU-Northern) helped adding 16 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Jermaine Malie (185-96) with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and power forward Ryan Blanchett (203-96, college: FNU) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Suns' coach gave the chance to play for twelve players saving starting five for next games. Magic moved-up to seventh place in League. Loser Suns keep the fourteenth position with eight games lost. Magic will face league's second-placed Tigers in Willetton in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Suns will play on the road against Giants (#9) in Kalgoorlie and hope to win that game.
