No shocking result in a game in Werribee where fourth ranked Cavaliers (8-3) defeated 7th ranked Devils (3-7) 85-67 on Saturday. They outrebounded Devils 41-28 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Rachel Bell (178, college: Vanderbilt) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds for the winners and Jamaican forward Shereesha Richards (185-93, college: Albany) chipped in 20 points and 12 rebounds. Cavaliers' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Nicola Handreck with 18 points and 4 assists and Georgia Tauschke scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four Devils players scored in double figures. Cavaliers moved-up to third place in League. Loser Devils keep the seventh position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
