The game between closely ranked teams ended with eleventh ranked Ipswich Force's (3-4) home victory over 12th ranked Roar (1-5) in Booval 108-71 on Saturday. Ipswich Force dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to Roar's 36. They outrebounded Roar 51-35 including a 45-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ipswich Force looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The former international center Matt Hodgson (211-91, college: St.Mary's, CA) nailed a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and guard Isaac White (188-98, college: CBU) accounted for 26 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Ipswich Force players scored in double figures. Guard William McDowell-White (196-98, college: Fresno St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 7 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals and forward Kian Dennis (197-1) added 15 points respectively for Roar in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
