Not a big story in a game in Albury where 14th ranked Bandits (4-11) were defeated by eighth ranked Bendigo Braves (9-7) 79-74 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Ray Turner (206-90, college: Texas A&M) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds and guard Nelson Larkins (180-96) who added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Bendigo Braves' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was center Johnny Crnogorac (216-95, college: UTRGV, agency: Haylett Sports) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and New Zealand swingman Mitchell Dance (192-1) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Bendigo Braves moved-up to seventh place in League. Loser Bandits keep the fourteenth position with 11 games lost.
