Regular Season Round 24: Joondalup W. - Geraldton B. 94-100

There was a small surprise in Joondalup where eleventh ranked Buccaneers (6-14) won against 9th ranked Wanneroo (9-12) 100-94 on Saturday. Strangely Wanneroo outrebounded Buccaneers 48-24 including a 23-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 20 long-distance shots on high 52.6 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Elijah Barbour who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized British point guard Brandon Holloway (183-93) who added 24 points and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Jonathan Wade (196-93, college: Norfolk St.) with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Greek guard Trian Iliadis (190-89, college: ODU) scored 24 points. Four Buccaneers and five Wanneroo players scored in double figures. Wanneroo's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Buccaneers maintains eleventh position in League with 6-14 record. Loser Wanneroo keeps the ninth place with 12 games lost.
