There was no surprise in Marden where 7th ranked Bearcats (7-10) were defeated by fifth ranked Flames (10-7) 83-79 on Sunday. Flames made 25-of-28 free shots (89.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was guard Alex Wilson (174-94) who had a double-double by scoring 32 points, 18 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals (was perfect 16-for-16 from the free throw line !!!). Genna Anderson chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. American power forward Jennie Rintala (188-90, college: S.Dakota St.) produced 25 points and 6 rebounds and Sky Langenbrinck (-91) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Bearcats players scored in double figures. Flames have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 10-7 record. Loser Bearcats keep the seventh place with ten games lost.
