Regular Season Round 1: Tasmania JJ - Brisbane 83-74

An interesting game for JackJumpers which hosted in Hobart Bullets. JackJumpers managed to get a 9-point victory 83-74. American point guard Josh Magette (185-89, college: UAH) nailed 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Josh Adams (188-93, college: Wyoming) accounted for 20 points. International guard Nathan Sobey (190-90, college: Wyoming) came up with 24 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Robert Franks (203-96, college: WSU) added 19 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Bullets in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. JackJumpers will meet Cairns Taipans on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bullets will play against Perth Wildcats and hope to win that game.
