Regular Season Round 4: Bankstown B. - Norths Bears 61-78

There was a small surprise in Condell Park where twelfth ranked Norths Soul Sports Bears (1-1) won against bottom-ranked Bankstown Bruins (0-3) 78-61 on Saturday. Norths Soul Sports Bears forced 20 Bankstown Bruins turnovers. Point guard Brennan Rymer (183, college: Azusa Pacific) fired 33 points (!!!) (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Anatoly Bose chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. Nicko Timonera produced 15 points and 6 rebounds and Shareef Saipaia added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Norths Soul Sports Bears left bottom position moving up to sixth place in League. Loser Bankstown Bruins still closes the standings with three games lost. Norths Soul Sports Bears will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bankstown Bruins will play against Crusaders (#8) in Terrigal and hope to get finally their first victory.
