No shocking result in a game in Northbridge where leader Magic (3-0) smashed 10th ranked Redbacks (1-3) 67-48 on Friday. Magic forced 23 Redbacks turnovers. It was a great evening for forward Carly Boag (188-1991, college: Minot St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Casey Mihovilovich (173-1982) helped adding 20 points, 5 assists and 9 steals. Magic's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American guard Makailah Dyer (175, college: N.Dakota) responded with 18 points and the other American import forward Kayonna Lee (185, college: Central Mo.) scored 9 points and 10 rebounds. Magic maintains second place in League with 3-0 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Sutherland S. Loser Redbacks dropped to the eleventh position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
