Very expected game when 10th ranked Tigers (5-6) lost to sixth ranked Magic (7-4) in Willetton 88-95 on Saturday. Magic made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. American swingman Jay Bowie (196-1992, college: Marist) nailed 27 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and guard Kyle Armour (183-1989, college: Augusta) accounted for 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four Magic players scored in double figures. Guard Damien Scott (192-1992) came up with 37 points (!!!) and 4 assists and naturalized Scottish power forward Michael Vigor (206-1990) added 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Tigers in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Magic moved-up to fifth place in League. Loser Tigers keep the tenth position with six games lost. Magic will meet Lightning (#11) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Tigers will play against the league's leader Buccaneers in Wonthella and hope to secure a win.
