The most surprising game was the first loss of Buccaneers (10-1) in Hamilton Hill on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by ninth ranked Cougars (6-5) 98-94. Cougars shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 55.2 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Carter Skaggs (196-1995, college: UNCW) who helped to win the game recording 37 points (!!!). Guard Josh Hunt (194-2002) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Cougars' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American Cameron Coleman (198-1992, college: York, NE, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) answered with 21 points and guard Malik Meunier (185) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Buccaneers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cougars moved-up to seventh place in League. Buccaneers at the other side still keep top position with one game lost. Cougars are looking forward to face higher ranked Magic (#5) in Mandurah in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Buccaneers will play at home against Tigers (#10) and are hoping to win this game.
