There was a surprise result in Greensborough where seventeenth ranked Cavaliers (4-9) outleveled higher ranked Diamond Valley Eagles (6-7) 111-81 on Saturday. Cavaliers outrebounded Diamond Valley Eagles 46-28 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Jordan Bell fired a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Guard William Hickey (194-1999) chipped in 20 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Four Cavaliers players scored in double figures. Naturalized Sudanese forward Ngor Manyang (200-1993) produced 27 points and Bj Symons added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Diamond Valley Eagles' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Cavaliers moved-up to fifteenth place in League. Loser Diamond Valley Eagles keep the twelfth position with seven games lost. Cavaliers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Diamond Valley Eagles will play against Tigers (#16) in Melbourne and hope to secure a win.
