There was a small surprise in Inner West where fifth ranked Bulls (8-5) beat 3rd placed Bandits (8-6) 107-91 on Saturday. Bulls dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Bandits' 38. Bulls had a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Naturalized South Sudanese forward Chier Maker (203-1995, college: Idaho St.) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Alex Higgins-Titsha chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Bulls' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Duom Dawam (208) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Lochlan Cummings (189-1995, college: HIU) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Bulls moved-up to third place in League. Loser Bandits dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. Bulls will meet Hills Hornets (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bandits will have a break next round.
