There was a minor upset in Crows Nest where 5th ranked Bandits (8-8) were defeated by seventh ranked Norths Soul Sports Bears (8-6) 97-80 on Sunday. Norths Soul Sports Bears looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Brennan Rymer (183, college: Azusa Pacific) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points and 7 assists. American forward Patrick Sanders (201-1985, college: UC Irvine) helped adding 32 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Lochlan Cummings (189-1995, college: HIU) responded with 25 points and center Duom Dawam (208) scored 8 points and 14 rebounds. Bandits' coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Norths Soul Sports Bears moved-up to third place in League. Loser Bandits dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
