Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Bulls (0-19) were outscored at home by fourth ranked Hunters (11-5) 110-49 on Saturday. Hunters forced 28 Bulls turnovers and outrebounded them 42-29 including 17 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by American guard Nicole Munger (180-1997, college: Michigan) who scored that evening 53 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals (on 20-of-25 shooting from the field) and center Chyra Evans (191-2003) supported her with 24 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds by Jade Yeomans did not help to save the game for Bulls. American forward Lashayla Wright-Ponder (182, college: Tampa) added 11 points and 5 rebounds. Bulls' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Hunters maintains fourth position in League with 11-5 record. Loser Bulls still closes the standings with 19 games lost. Hunters will meet league's second-placed North Bears in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Bulls will have a break next round.
