Regular Season Round 1: Perth - Brisbane 87-73

Date: October 2, 2022
The game in Perth was also quite interesting. Bullets played at the court of Perth Wildcats. Perth Wildcats defeated Bullets 87-73 on Sunday. Perth Wildcats forced 24 Bullets turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Guard Bryce Cotton (182-1992, college: Providence, agency: Pensack Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals for the winners and power forward TaShawn Thomas (203-1993, college: Oklahoma, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 12 points and 6 assists. At the losing side guard Devondrick Walker (196-1992, college: A&M-Commerce) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds and guard Tyler Johnson (193-1992, college: Fresno St.) scored 13 points and 4 assists. Four Bullets players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Perth Wildcats will meet Cairns Taipans on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bullets will play against JackJumpers in Hobart and hope to win that game.
