Bottom-ranked Canberra Capitals is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their ninth consecutive match to sixth ranked Perth Lynx (3-5) 97-83 on Wednesday evening. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Samantha Whitcomb (178-1988, college: Washington) who led the winners and scored 26 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international power forward Lauren Scherf (196-1996, agency: LBM Management) accounted for 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Perth Lynx's coach Ryan Petrik used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international swingman Jade Melbourne (176-2002, college: Arizona St.) came up with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and American swingman Rae Burrell (185-2000, college: Tennessee) added 20 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Canberra Capitals in the defeat.
