The game between closely ranked teams ended with Storm's (0-2) home loss to Camberwell (2-2) 85-92 on Saturday. Camberwell outrebounded Storm 48-32 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American Anthony Kimble (196-1987, college: GSC) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import forward Sean Clarke chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Kimble is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Camberwell players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Josh Chery (190, college: St.Francis, IL) who recorded 21 points and guard Max Kos added 21 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Camberwell's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Melbourne to the arena Vikings.
