There was a minor upset in Greensborough where 8th ranked Diamond Valley Eagles (4-4) were defeated by eleventh ranked Geelong Supercats (4-3) 73-67 on Sunday. Geelong Supercats dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Diamond Valley Eagles' 32. Geelong Supercats forced 19 Diamond Valley Eagles turnovers. The best player for the winners was center Ella Tofaeono (190, college: Texas Tech) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds.
