There was no surprise when 13th ranked Tigers (4-6) were defeated on the road by second ranked Eltham Wildcats (7-2) 100-91 on Saturday. Eltham Wildcats made 26-of-30 free shots (86.7 percent) during the game, while Tigers only scored six points from the stripe. Eltham Wildcats looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international guard Angus Glover (192-1998) fired 31 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Owen Foxwell (187-2003, agency: ProMondo Sports) chipped in 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Jack Purchase (203-1995, college: Hawaii) produced 31 points and 5 rebounds and guard Taj Chehhal (188-2001) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Eltham Wildcats keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams.
