Very expected game in North Lake where bottom-ranked Magic (0-9) was defeated by ninth ranked Lightning (5-7) 90-80 on Friday. Lightning looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Rowan Mackenzie (190-1999, college: LCU) who scored 29 points and 7 assists. Forward Joshua Davey (198-2000, college: LCU) chipped in 9 points and 13 rebounds. Lightning's coach Mike Malat allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American DeQuan Abrom (188-1996, college: Belm.Abbey) who recorded 19 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and his fellow American import power forward CJ Bobbitt (201-1997, college: Denver) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Lightning maintains ninth position with 5-7 record. Loser Magic still closes the standings with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
