There was an upset when higher ranked Kilsyth Cobras (5-6) were defeated at home by eighteenth ranked Cavaliers (3-8) 72-64 on Saturday. Cavaliers had a 33-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Cavaliers especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. The best player for the winners was Senegalese center Sidy Djitte (208-1994, college: Clemson, agency: Helping Ballers) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 19 rebounds. Point guard Mason Perry (183-2002, college: Lindsey Wilson) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Nicholas Feller (-1998) who recorded 22 points and 8 rebounds and guard Adrian Tomada (-1995) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Cavaliers moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Cent.Coast C. Kilsyth Cobras lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Cavaliers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
