Rather expected game when 6th ranked Camberwell (3-9) lost to fourth ranked Cougars (6-6) in Melbourne 63-78 on Sunday. Cougars had a 34-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Briana Gray (178, college: Weber St.) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Emily Suckling (168, college: California, PA) supported her with 22 points and 4 assists. Even 11 points and 7 rebounds by Marnie Houghton did not help to save the game for Camberwell. Lithuanian guard Saule Kontautaite (175-1989, college: W.Illinois) added 11 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Four Camberwell players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cougars maintains fourth position with 6-6 record, which they share with Nunawading S.
