Regular Season Round 22: Keilor T. - Dandenong R. 84-81

Very expected game when 19th ranked Dandenong Rangers (3-12) were edged by eleventh ranked Thunder (7-7) in Melbourne 84-81 on Saturday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. American forward William Jenkins III (201-1996, college: Virginia Union) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Robbie Heath (190-1998, college: Pepperdine) supported him with 18 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). Five Thunder players scored in double figures. Even 26 points and 6 rebounds by power forward Deng Puoch (203-1999) did not help to save the game for Dandenong Rangers. Guard Jack Roberts (196-1999, college: SVSU) added 20 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Thunder have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Dandenong Rangers dropped to the fifteenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Manly Warr.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
