Rather predictable result when second ranked Sturt Sabres (9-3) rolled over 5th ranked North Adelaide Rockets (7-5) in Pasadena 118-82 on Saturday. Sturt Sabres forced 20 North Adelaide Rockets turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by North Adelaide Rockets' players. American guard Jordan Forbes (193-1998, college: Salem) notched 26 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and naturalized Italian forward Jacob Rigoni (198-1998, college: Quinnipiac) supported him with 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Sturt Sabres players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds by American forward Keouvion McCalop (203-1994, college: Dakota Bottin.) did not help to save the game for North Adelaide Rockets. His fellow American import guard Durrell McDonald (188, college: Mercyhurst) added 25 points and 6 assists for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sturt Sabres have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Forestville E. and W.Adelaide B. Loser North Adelaide Rockets keep the fifth place with five games lost.
