The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Comets' (11-4) home loss to fourth ranked BA CoE (14-5) 77-103 on Saturday. BA CoE dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Comets' 36. They outrebounded Comets 48-30 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was center Saffron Shiels (187-2006) who scored 21 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Center Isla Juffermans (191-2005) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Jada Crawshaw (184-2004) who recorded 24 points and 6 rebounds and forward Alexandra Kayrouz (178-2004) added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Five BA CoE and four Comets players scored in double figures. BA CoE moved-up to third place. Loser Comets dropped to the second position with four games lost.
