Quite upsetting was Bearcats' 24-point home defeat in a game versus Rockets who crushed hosts . They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Bearcats' 38. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Lauren Mansfield (170-1989, college: Iowa St.) who scored 23 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Guard Brooke Basham (178-1997) chipped in 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Rockets' coach felt very confident using 10 players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Molly Coleman (188-2000, college: USC Upstate) who recorded 19 points and 7 rebounds and guard Jasmin Fejo (177-2000) added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively.
