Very significant was Norwood Flames' (#6) just 2-point road victory against 7th ranked North Adelaide Rockets 90-88. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of North Adelaide Rockets. Norwood Flames forced 22 North Adelaide Rockets turnovers. Strangely North Adelaide Rockets outrebounded Norwood Flames 51-31 including a 36-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Walter Mcbride nailed 30 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and guard Matthew Lycett (194-1990) accounted for 13 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Akech Aliir (200-2000) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 19 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Riley Harrap (-2000) added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for North Adelaide Rockets in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Norwood Flames maintains sixth place with 10-8 record.
