There was a small surprise when seventh ranked Sabres (12-9) rolled over 4th placed Frankston Blues (15-7) in Seaford 92-59 on Saturday. Sabres made 21-of-22 free shots (95.5 percent) during the game. Sabres had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Naturalized Turkish guard Funda Nakkasoglu (173-1995, college: Florida) nailed 22 points for the winning side and forward Georgia Pineau (185-1997, college: Boston Coll.) accounted for 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Sabres players scored in double figures. Forward Louise Brown (189-1995, college: Tennessee) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Chelsea Angelo added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Frankston Blues in the defeat. Sabres maintains seventh place with 12-9 record, which they share with Eltham W. Loser Frankston Blues dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost.
