The most exciting game of round 7 in the Big V took place in Bellarine. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 7th rankedJets (4-5) to eighth ranked Storm (5-4) 92-91 in the game for the sixth place. Bellarine looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Bellarine made 10 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Lewis Varley (186-1993) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. American forward Kavione Green (195, college: Bloomfield) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Canadian guard Joshua Yorke-Frazer (183-1995, college: Seneca) answered with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Benjamon Robertson added 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Sunbury. Four Bellarine and five Sunbury players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Bellarine moved-up to sixth place. Sunbury lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with five games lost.
