Very expected game when 7th rankedFlames (3-8) lost to second ranked Rockets (10-1) in Adelaide 58-74 on Saturday. N.Adelaide R. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by Jordyn Freer who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and center Tayla Corrigan (190-1993, college: Idaho) supported her with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Rockets players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds by American forward Emily Saunders (196-2001, college: YSU) did not help to save the game for Norwood F. . Emily Winter added 9 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rockets have a solid four-game winning streak. N.Adelaide R. keeps a position of league leader, which they share with C.Districts L. Norwood F. lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with eight games lost.
