Regular Season Round 28: Penrith P. - BA CoE 68-78

Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Panthers (3-10) lost to sixth ranked BA CoE (7-6) in Penrith 68-78 on Saturday. BA CoE outrebounded Penrith 48-37 including 18 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by swingman Sienna Harvey (174-2006) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Monique Bobongie (178-2006) supported her with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Four BA CoE players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 19 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists by American-Swiss forward Mia Heide (190-2000, college: Duke) did not help to save the game for Penrith. Naturalized New Zealand guard Tahlia Tupaea (175-1997) added 24 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. BA CoE maintains sixth position with 7-6 record. Penrith lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth place with ten games lost. BA CoE will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Penrith will play against Hills H. (#9) in Baulkham Hills and hope to secure a win.
