There was a minor upset when 3rd rankedSabres (13-4) lost to fifth ranked Rangers (11-6) in Dandenong 71-75 on Saturday. Dandenong R. made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The winners were led by forward Nyadiew Puoch (189-2004) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Amber Smith (180-1998, college: Missouri) supported her with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 15 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists by forward Klara Wischer (190-1991, college: San Diego) did not help to save the game for Sandringham S. . Guard Isis Lopes (180, college: UTEP) added 18 points and 4 assists. Dandenong R. maintains fifth position with 11-6 record. Loser Sabres keeps the third place with four games lost.
