Everything went according to plan in McKinnon where second rankedCougars (16-6) outscored bottom-ranked Steelers (4-18) 111-81 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American forward Steve Wooten Jr (198-1998, college: Bethesda) who scored 26 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import guard Adam Anderson (193, college: St.Rose, NY) chipped in 31 points. Five Cougars players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized British forward Paul Brotherson (197-1989, college: MSU Denver) who recorded 17 points and 5 rebounds and Liam Ingram added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cougars have an impressive five-game winning streak. McKinnon maintains second position with 16-6 record having just one point less than leader Wyndham. Western PS lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 18 games lost.
