The former international power forward Kelsey Griffin (188-1987, college: Nebraska) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 18 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international guard Isobel Borlase (180-2004) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Bendigo Spirit players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international forward Steph Talbot (188-1994) responded with 16 points and 5 assists and American forward Sania Feagin (190-2003, college: S.Carolina) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Bendigo Spirit have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 12-2 record. Adelaide at the other side dropped to the sixth place with nine games lost.
