Perth Lynx made 29-of-32 free shots (90.6 percent) during the game, while Bendigo Spirit only scored twelve points from the stripe. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Anneli Maley (185-1998, college: TCU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international guard Alex Wilson (175-1994) contributed with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. International guard Isobel Borlase (180-2004) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists and American guard Megan McConnell (170-2001, college: Duquesne) added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Bendigo Spirit.
