Adelaide 36ers outrebounded Phoenix 48-28 including a 34-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Adelaide 36ers looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Phoenix helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American guard Bryce Cotton (182-1992, college: Providence, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored 38 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international guard Dejan Vasiljevic (190-1997, college: Miami, FL) chipped in 27 points and 4 assists. Four Adelaide 36ers players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Ian Clark (190-1991, college: Belmont) who recorded 32 points and the former international guard Nathan Sobey (190-1990, college: Wyoming) added 17 points and 8 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
