Regular Season Round 2: Hobart C. - Nunawading S. 67-99

Date: March 27, 2026
Very predictable result when Spectres rolled over Chargers in Hobart 99-67 on Friday. Nunawading S. outrebounded Hobart C. 52-41 including a 40-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nunawading S. looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Hobart C.'s players. American forward Kylee Blacksten (190-2002, college: WVU) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and power forward Eliza Hollingsworth (190-2001, college: Gonzaga) supported her with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds by Chloe Broomhall did not help to save the game for Hobart C.. Sharna Thompson added 17 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Chargers' coach already knew that her team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
