Regular Season Round 2: Bellarine - Western Port 93-92

Boomers recorded a loss in Bellarine. Visitors were edged by Storm 93-92. Bulleen was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Courtney Strait (180-1994) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Chantelle Hall chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. American forward Madeline Holland (180, college: SMC, agency: Crossover Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and Chloe Hicks scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Five Bellarine and four Bulleen players scored in double figures. Boomers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Storm will play against Hume City B. in Tullamarine in the next round. Boomers will play at home against Warrandyte V. and hope to get back on the winning track.
