Regular Season Round 4: McKinnon C. - Warrandyte V. 79-71

Date: April 26, 2026
Rather predictable result in Melbourne where third ranked Venom (4-2) beat 6th ranked Cougars (2-2) 79-71 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Amy Patton (178-1991, college: NAU) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 9 rebounds and Emily Whitehouse who added 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Venom players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Katherine Vaile (185, college: UW-Oshkosh) responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds and guard Emily Suckling (168, college: California, PA) scored 21 points. Venom have a solid four-game winning streak. Warrandyte V. maintains third position with 4-2 record having just one point less than leader Sherbrooke S. Loser Cougars keeps the sixth place with two games lost. Warrandyte V. will meet at home Bulleen (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. McKinnon C. will play against Bellarine and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
