There was no surprise when bottom-rankedBulls (0-8) lost at home to twelfth ranked Hawks (3-5) 96-79 on Saturday. Illawarra H. outrebounded Inner WB 53-32 including a 24-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by American guard Una Jovanovic (175, college: TCU) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Asha Phillips (180-2004, college: Idaho) supported her with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Five Hawks players scored in double figures. Hawks' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 29 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists by point guard Taylah Levy (165, college: CSU) did not help to save the game for Inner WB . French Seehia Ridard (188-2002) added 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Illawarra H. moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Bulls still closes the standings with eight games lost.
